In today’s world, we run here and there, frantically trying to keep up with our busy work schedules. Work can be a bothersome mess, stress is part of daily life, et cetera. Relationships, too, may not provide solace and can be stressful themselves so that sometimes, you might just be hanging on by your fingernails. Where does all of our time flee to? With this kind of hassle to deal with on a daily basis, it’s easy to forget who and what we are. However, we can find and center ourselves once again by doing things we enjoy.

However, we need serenity and peace of mind to function in our daily lives. There’s no sense in just waiting for the next thing to happen without trying to calm down the frenzy we are already experiencing. If we do that, we’ve simply given into the stress we experience and the resulting confusion. If that happens, there’s no telling what else will happen. Relationships will suffer, and so will work.

What can we do, then, to get some of that peace of mind that, even if just for a short time? Nature is one way to reconnect. It can be soothing to simply take a walk in nature and experience wildlife up close once again. Here, again, we can reconnect to miracles, if we want to. What can be more pleasing than experiencing a miracle with wildlife’s beautiful creatures to share it with us?

Horseback riding can be one way to get back in touch with nature. There is both joy and solace knowing that you are riding on top of a beautiful animal that has roamed the same mountains for hundreds of years. The horse was worshiped by the American Indians and has been since they first came into contact with each other. Horses can be domestic animals, yes, but they love and work hard, and they love the wilderness as much as humans do.

The Rocky Mountains offer the horseback rider scenery that can only be seen in works of art. The land is alive with all of God’s wonder and miracles. Once you mount your mighty steed and ride slowly through the brush and approach that open plains that open up to view the mountains you could ask for no better backdrop. Your horse will enjoy the easy pace as you ride slow through the brush. You can take in the scenery of the Rocky Mountain in the best possible way.

However, there’s not just a slow easy ride to consider. As stated before, you can also gallop in front of the plains as you go up to the Rocky Mountains. If your horse is surefooted enough, you can even do a bit of mountain climbing on the easy trails so that you have breathtaking views of the world around you; the scenery itself seems to go on till now and. The American Indians say that this area is a place of living spirits. You’ll see what they mean and perhaps will feel it, too. The ancient ancestors’ spirits will give you a sense of clarity, peace and well being.
